The Vise Library is introducing books (in separate blog posts) that will be available in our catalog soon. We were given the opportunity to read The Total Package prior to its release in March. Read below to find out what this book is about and to see what the Vise Library thought about it!
About the book:
The New York Times bestselling author of Big Girl Panties is back with a funny, sweet, and sizzling novel about love, redemption, and second chances.
Heartthrob star quarterback Tyson Palmer has it all: a million-dollar arm, a winning season and the promise of a Superbowl ring. But more importantly, football’s biggest star is the ultimate comeback kid. After an addiction to painkillers nearly derailed his career, Tyson got sober and went from zero to hero in the eyes of the public.
But one person remains unconvinced: Dani Carr, a sports commentator with high ratings and following of her own.
Dani can’t forgive Tyson’s transgressions or forget a single passionate night with him back in college.
As a rabid reader and sports fan, I devoured this book in
one sitting! This book was spectacular
and I loved every minute of it. Tyson
and Dani have a shared past but Tyson is unaware of it after he gets himself
clean. Dani is thrown in his path again
and is determined to stay away from him.
She has a major secret she is keeping from him and she is set on protecting that secret at all costs. However, Tyson shows that
he is a different person now. Dani's
secret threatens to harm their new found friendship. I loved Dani's fiesty attitude and the
humbleness that Tyson discovers. This
was a very fast read for me and I think readers will appreciate the growth from
both of these characters! There were many times I laughed out loud (like I always do in Stephanie's books) and I loved every minute of it! This book will be available in our Popular Collection when it releases March 15!
PS If you have read any of Stephanie's previous books then you will be happy to see some very familiar faces!
